About Us

Our Mission

image25

  • To perpetuate the art and beauty of quilting
  • Enhance the quilting arts through technology
  • Broaden the horizons of members to new techniques of quilting and related arts
  • Encourage members to share their expertise with others
  • Include young members and those new to the art of quilting to ensure an active and growing group
  • Share with the public the history and beauty of quilting
  • Strive for a spirit of cooperation to attain a unified membership
  • Support the community by donating quilts to charitable organizations

Community Outreach:

Members make simple quilts from crib to twin size to be donated to charities in our local area. Patriotic quilts are also made and donated through "Quilts Honoring Veterans" to service people.

General Meetings

image26

The Delta Quilters meet on the 2nd Monday of each month with Social Hour from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, followed by the meeting until 9:00 pm. Each member has a voice in running the guild. The board meeting minutes are read, changes to the guild are voted on by the general membership, and upcoming events are discussed. Some months we have a special program with a noted quilt author or teacher. At the end of the meeting we have a "Show & Tell" where members are able to share their quilting accomplishments.

Our meetings are held at:

Golden Hills Community Church,

2401 Shady Willow Lane, Brentwood, CA
